That's interesting: I, too, brought a bug to the test, along with the wedge
needed to put it between the straight key contacts.. I sent maybe a word and
the examiner said "That's fine." Because I had to sit the 20 WPM test at the
FCC, I was grandfathered for the 2nd class radiotelegraph ticket. I'll keep
that one for as long as the license exists, even though it's is essentially of
no value.
