You're welcome. I have the dead receiver problem, too, but transmitting
into a dummy load for a few seconds on the affected band always
corrects it.
The pots on my Paragon periodically become scratchy and need to be
cleaned. I think that Ten Tec just used cheap pots in the Paragon.
Really good potentiometers like the old Allen Bradley, Clarostat, and
Centralab are hard to find, especially in a miniature size.
