I hardly think that TenTec can be considered 'has been' by even the wildest
stretch of an imagination. With 3 very solid transcievers (Jupiter, Omni VII &
Orion II) and great accessories such as the 715 speech processor, they are well
entrenched in the ham marketplace.
If that were not enough, they have a very solid place in Govt and Mil
electronics as well as their machine shop and other lines.
