Interesting position. So it's okay to cite a K3 review as support for
an opinion that a K3 isn't worthy of consideration "for HF, low bands"
"in a million years", yet not okay to respond to the substance of the
review?
It's also short-sighted to characterize W4ZV merely as a "noted
Elecraft supporter." He is also a noted Ten-Tec supporter of many
years and put in A LOT of time and fought hard to improve the Orion in
the beta trenches, a thankless task of 2+ years.

That is certainly not my experience in the world of HF dx'ing and contesting.
The Orion and K3 are both fine radios. The firmware in my Orion will
be 5 years old in January. The K3 performance took up where the Orion
left off. I hope the Orion 3 can reciprocate one day.
