My question is how many feel they did not work K5D because TenTec had the
audacity to release the new version AFTER K5D went QRT.
I know my failure to work them on 12M had to be related in some way to not
having the new version (probably something to do with the "waterfall"
display or AF AGC).
PS I like Ron's (VE3SP) idea of: "everyone who is writing about the new
firmware release use "new firmware" in the subject line -- as Jeff did -- so
that those of us who are not interested can set a filter to delete the
messages?
