Yes, I am having the same problem as you, except I have a different method
of problem resolution. Instead of boxing my Orion, I have scheduled an
appointment with one of the local psychiatrists. I am hoping that he will be
able to help me understand why I am enjoy using my Orion, and what I should
do to get cured.

Oh my gosh. All of these comments are so true. I did not realize how crappy
by Orion 1 and Orion 11 were until I read all of these comments on the
reflector. As a result, I boxed up both of these radios and set them in a
corner until all of the promised updates were released. How could I have
been so misled?
