i have used MixW and the suggested keying circuit found the help files of
MixW (one diode, one transistor and 2 resistors) to type CW and read when
needed (at speeds above 35 wpm) with 2 Orions. i have never had any problems
with the software except Windows itself. that is relatively cheap as the
cost of the above circuitry at Radio Shack or similar is less than $20
including the aluminum box and connectors.
