Well, I do not use my Orion II as much as I might because I have several
other radios in the shack. However, I have been very lucky. The only issue
I have had was consistent RF getting into the ear phone circuit. TenTec
sent me a small circuit board to be installed inside the rig. I did so and
completely cured the problem. I understand that circuit is now installed on
a standard basis for all current production Orions. I can't tell you
exactly when I purchased the radio but believe it was sometime in 2005.

My Orion went back for a main receiver encoder in 2007. Purchased in 2003.
Been fine ever since.
