Addendum:
>From page 1 of my 263 VFO manual:
" 1. Select the desired mode with the pushbutton switches. The mode
chosen will be indicated by the LED display to the right of the
bargraph. "A" is ther Corsair, "B" is the 263. Thus if the LED's
indicate Rx A, TX B, split operation, external transmit has been
selected. The corsair frequency display will always indicate the
frequency in use--Receive or transmit--regardless of the settings in
the 263.
2. When dual receive (RAB) is selected both LEDs will be lit. The
relative gain of each signal is adjusted with the AB balance control.
In this condition, when the balance control is at its center
position, the frequency counter in the corsair will be presented with
two signals of equal amplitude and it is impossible for it to count
both. Consequently, at this center point, the display will become
erratic. This is normal, and a slight adjustment of the A-B balance
control will restore normal counter display stability.
5. The reverse pushbutton will reverse the split operation when it is
selected and will restore normal receive function on the transmit
frequency when the RAB is active. This control permits a "free look"
at your transmit frequency without using one of the mode pushbuttons -
-- thereby preventing you from accidentally transmitting where you do
not want to be. The reverse button has no effect in transmit."
That otter be what you need.
