Kirk, but the problem with the Flex 5000 is that at our Field Day, it was picking up the 20 meter SSB station while it was tuned to 40m, and the 20m station was over 100 feet away with a vertical antenna, and the Flex was cross polarized using a 40m dipole! And, it had been set up by someone from Flex! Under similar antenna conditions, my Argonaut V has never suffered at Field Days from another station. That 5000 is not a very bullet proof radio!
