Hi Arron:........I used to own a Drake T/R-7, it was a good rig passing NTS
and MARS program.
When they went out of business I was interested in doing business with a USA
mfg and switched over
from Yaesu and Drake to TenTec equipment. There is a lot of good equipment
in the marketplace so take your time to shop around and purchase equipment
that is guaranteed by the seller or your $$$$
back. Your Kenwood #520S will make a good back-up rig for you.

Just curious what is the going rate on a Paragon now days? I'm looking at
starting my first Ten-Tec station and if memory serves me right the
Paragon
is the first General RX transceiver? Anyways looking at either the Paragon
or a TR-7 to replace my TS-520S in the next month. Any input would be
