The chip upgrade is very simple.
First, do the PLD upgrade as described on the Ten Tec web page.
When that's done, remove the bottom of the Jupiter case, remove the old chip
and install the upgraded chip.?
Should be easy.

downloads page. No one has said anything about the difficulty of installation
