Both power suppies have a SPST switch on the front panel. The rigs have a
SPST switch on a control -- on my Omni-C it is on the AF Gain control.
Those two switches are placed in series with the circuit between the power
mains and the supply's transformer. If either switch is "off" then the
supply is off. Without adding a jumper somewhere there is no way to turn
the supply on before the rig. I've used these rigs/supplies for years
without a problem.
