And this is the why I purchased and enjoy the Flex 5000A. I also have an
OII and have really enjoyed it. Not only is the Flex 5000A feature rich, it
is my opinion that it outperforms the OII. Hope the folks at TT are
listening. You need to pay attention to what your competition are doing.
Also in the wings is the Quick Silver(QS1R). Right now it is only a SDR
with receive (multiple receivers)(2) capability. Soon it will have transmit
capability.
I suspect that this will create a little competition for Flex. As a fellow
ham has said, "What a great time to be involved with ham radio."
