John-
Great news. This has been a real mystery and it will be nice to get to the
bottom of it. As I said earlier, my original Orion which had the problem in
spades is either in the TenTec used inventory or has been sold to a new
owner. The unit they swapped me has been RIT perfect. But if it does
develop the problem it will be nice to have a solution. Thanks for working
with TT to do so.

Subject: [TenTec] Orion RIT/XIT problems
Hello all,
Paul asked me to post a message for him. Ten-Tec has reviewed the
information I sent of the RIT/XIT problem and believe it to be a connector
problem. They have examined the connections and have some ideas they want
to confirm. If you have problems with your RIT/XIT or other encoders in
that area of the Orion, please contract Paul Clinton as service@tentec.com.
Paul will outline procedures to help confirm the solution. Thank you.

John
