Duane I believe it's for:
1. Minimalist operating sans computer (e.g. portable).
2. Luddites (like myself) who never liked RTTY.
I still haven't been inspired to try it even after having a
K3 for ~6 months...maybe one of these days. Too many other
fun things to try like SDR on the IF Output (PowerSDR-IF,
CW Skimmer, Winrad, etc).
