If you were to buy a Low Pass Filter I would get an Oak Bay or Bencher. Still you do not need one. Other problems exist. I bought a used filter from a swap fest/on line and it generated more RFI than I had before. It was arced over on the inside. Do not know if I did it or it came that way. My old Drake TR7 and L7 combo when into self oscillation when I added a certain Drake filter between the output of the TR-7 and the input of the amp. Go figure. I had to power down the XCVR to stop it from transmitting. That radio did not like an additional Low Pass filter on it. I had to line to top cover of the LP filter on the TR-7 with aluminum foil as a fix. Insufficient shielding I guess. K0CQ is right on.
