I am in your camp. I recall the promise made in their marketing/sales
promotion regarding the "upgrading process" versus the need to buy another
radio. But, then again, they didn't say how long that would last ; ). I
like the AGC where it was in the v 1 series.
Other than the TT posts about used and demo gear, I have not seen their
presence on the reflector in some time. It would be nice to know if they
really do plan any further firmware work.
