Bruce,

There are 2 sheets about hiss reduction and AGC performance
improvement mods that you can probably get from Ten-Tec that may be
applicable to your Omni V. I don't know of an internet reference
including this info. The title is (on 3 lines) "MODEL 562, OMNI V
PBT/IF-AF MODIFICATION   EFFECTIVE JUNE 1990 PRODUCTION."
