TV's or any electronics with "Instant On" features often have RFI because of use of silicon controlled switches for the instant on circuitry. In some sets you can turn off the instant on feature. However, in late DVD players, they seem to have a keep alive circuit that does not offer an optional off position. The only option there is to use a switched and circuit breaker protected multiple outlet strip to power such electronics. -Stuart K5KVH _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
