As far as I know, the firmware version doesn't make any difference.
It's an OMNI VI Plus.? I've never heard anybody ask about firmware versions
before and I've had OMNI VI Plus rigs for 15 or so years.
The OMNI VII or Jupiter, yes.? That makes a difference.
