You will find on the schematic that the ALC voltage is generated by two
diodes on or near the final board. Sometimes these fail because of a
lightning discharge in the next county. Another nearby pair generates the
SWR voltage. When a fellow is in there replacing diodes, it is well worth
replacing all 4 or 5.
