Check all of your pin connections.

I have a bad pin in my connector from the 263 to the Corsair, and if it gets
bumped, I lose the VFOs altogether, or I have a similar funky LED display.
I adjust the pin & wire back to where it should be, problem goes away.

This may not be your problem, but it's a good place to start!

I have a problem with my Ten-Tec remote VFO-263 it seems to work fine for
a
while and then goes off frequency about 5 to 9 kc then when I readjust it
to
the correct frequency the voices sound like they are under water and
distorded. If I switch back to the 560 that is fine. Once this happens if I
switch
back to the VFO it is still distorted with both on the same frequency ???
Then
after an hour or so it's ok for a while.
Has anyone else had this problem and what was the fix ???
Thanks
