Turning off the display to kill all noise is a real good idea...I thought about that myself. Unfortunately, I don't have the skirt with the kc markers on it. Could probably get one though. The fact is it usually doesn't matter what frequency you're tuned to, as long as it is legal. I figure I can count on the other guy to have his display on, right? I guess I can always ask "QRG, OM??"
