A simpler setup, if you must go to 60M. DONT USE THE VFO AT ALL. Just a crystal osc with the 6.144IF. Don't know which side you must use; that will set the sideband. Since the 60M band is channelized, and there are few channels, one might just get the thing clean enough to use.
