Hi to the list-- Kent asked about camping. There ia a campground at the tailwaters of Douglas Dam. Mostly fishermen. Quiet and not crowded at Hamfest time. No reservations needed. About 10 miles from TT. Some paved pull-ins. Some gravel. Clean rest rooms. Flush toilets. Corps of Engineers facility. It has been 2 or 3 years since I was there. There is also a headwaters campground, I am told. There are also campgrounds in Gatlinburg. Expensive. 73, Ariel, k4aal _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
