Fraser et al,
The CW offset frequency can be adjusted from the front panel.
Push the ST button, located in the upper right corner of the key pad,
then turn the RIT/XIT knob which is located just to the left of the
CW and USB buttons.
When you hit the ST button the frequency will be displayed on the
lower right side of the display section. Turn the RIT/XIT knob until
you find a frequency that suits you. I believe the minimum offset
frequency is 400 Hz. The upper limit is 990 Hz.
Note that the sidetone offset is also the same frequency as the CW offset.
