What is the 011? and if I may be so bold to ask what is your QTH region? Vert
seldom do we get hits here in Maryland.

Around noon or so a thunderstrom formed very fast almost overhead. Antennas
were disconnected, but had a very close strike near my 60 m Force 12 Sigma 80
vertpcal dipole. I don't think it was a direct hit. Anyway, heard a sound like
a firecracker in the shack. Went in and smelled the evidence of an arc, but no
electronic smell. Computer was dead and the OII won't boot. Only the meter
lights come on. It's packed up and ready for autopsy at TT. Good thing I have
insurance.
I found two arc-detecting breakers tripped in the panel and one standard
breaker tripped. GFIs are OK so far. Also lost a switch for the home network,
but all else seems OK so far. I suspect the MB on the computer, since the PS
checks OK but nothing happens when it's plugged into the MB. I pulled all the
PCI cards, the video card, and finally the CPU and memory and it still won't
post or even generate the diagnostic beeps.
I unplugged evrything from the OII and tried the standard reset: No joy. I
can't remember the super duper reset, but I should probably try tyat before I
ship it off. WHat's that sequence?
