I had a similar problem early on with my power supply. It turned out
that the cord going from the AC to the power supply had an internal
problem with the metal sleeves. I unplugged it, pulled the metal
sleevess out a bit with some needlenose pliers, and all was fine.
Look at ur power cord!

Perform some preliminary, basic tests. Do you read about 20 vdc
across the
basic filter caps? Try to localize the problem. Maybe even the
power switch
is defective (or your wall outlet!!).
