I have a Heath SB-1000 amplifier, which I use with my Orion II. Being
conservative with my radios, The Orion II( actually keys an Ameritron Model
ARB-704, which keys the amplifier. It's good knowing that no matter which
amplifier the Orion keys, it isn't trying to key voltage/current levels that
might damage the Orion's switching circuitry.

I'm using an Orion II and an AL-80A, which is similar to the SB-1000. The
AL-80A has the internal PIN-5 QSK switch. I have had no trouble keying the
amp QSK CW.

Is anyone using these in combo? Advice on keying the Heath with an Orion.
