Before you hook up to natural gas, check with the engine manufacturer to make sure that that particular engine will operate ok on natural gas. Natural gas does not provide the lubrication to the valves (valvestems) that gas does. In time with poor or no lubrication the valves will gall in the valve guide and stick. Probably wide open. Instantly no compression.
