I use it a lot -my antennas are non-resonant on various bands, and the auto
tuner saves me cranking my 238B knobs when I'm just running barefoot.

Since I have owned my Orion II (since last April) have used the internal
tuner very little and looking back if I had to make the purchase again would
certainly rethink that expense.
Having said that how many folks really use the internal tuner versus using
an outboard tuner ??
