Unfortunately Denny throughout my almost 40 years in the hobby, the $/£
exchange rate has never had much influence on the cost of US equipment sold
in the UK (except of course when the £ falls against the $). We get the
usual excuses about other costs to be covered etc (as though these didn't
exist in the USA). The Orion II is currently advertised at £3,349 or £3,599
with the ATU - yes, that's GBP!! Funny how the distributors all sell at the
same price too.
