Well I honestly don't know in real world cases how big of deal it is. But
compared to most modern rigs it is very poor at 20khz. Not to mention from
what I have heard the FT-2000 is nothing to set any standards by.
Still seems like a Jupiter II. Not that I have anything against a Jupiter.
Have one sitting two shelves above my Orion II.

I don't know about that, +8.5 dBm at 2 kHz (where it matters
most) looks pretty darn good to me. The FT-2000 is only
-19/-22 dBm at that spacing per the ARRL test results. And
the +13 dBm at 20 kHz is good enough most real world cases as
well.
