I just received an Orion from TT and hope to get it working with my favorite
logging program--NA, which I've used since it was first written. I received
the following from the program author, K8CC and wonder if anyone has any
ideas?

Following is paste from K8CC in response to getting Orion to work with NA
Contesting Program:

I have the official Orion Programmer's Guide which shows what needs to
be done. It's rather complicated, and appears to share nothing with
other radios, but that's not the major problem. The problem is, if I
read the Programmer's Guide correctly, the baud rate for the serial
connection to the Orion is fixed at 57,600 baud. Note that NA's COM
ports only work up to 9600 baud. This is because all of my DOS/IBM
documentation only describe operating the COM ports up to that speed.
So far, I've not had much luck finding information on how to program the
ports for higher speeds.

If my assumption from the Programmer's Guide is in error, and the baud
rate can be throttled back to 9600, please let me know and I'll start
planning out the Orion code for NA.

End of paste:

If anyone has any suggestions, please advise. Thanks.
