[TenTec] Ten Tec RF Scout gain mods

I dearly wish my Argo V had an RF gain control. Do not like the "roar"  
especially on 20 and 40 cw.  It is truly a fine little rig as is, but would  be 
really nice with the RF gain control.  Anyone know if there is a factory  mod 
for
