Bill,

Regarding the supply current, I powered my Jupiter with an Astron 20 amp
(peak) RS-20A. It won't handle the current you need. Often while tuning
up the antenna it would overload and shut it down. Once it bombed the
software and I had to do a S/W reset which erased all the 80 memory
locations I had stored. I was not too happy! Get one capable of 22 amps
or more. If more, then get the magnetic breaker to protect the Jupe from
overcurrent when loading into a < 50 ohm load because it causes the
finals to draw too much current. (25 ohms impedance draws twice as much
current as 50 ohms)

Can't tell you what all the versions added or fixed but the latest one
gives you a 150 DSP CW filter which works very well. It also gives you
sixty meter band (channels) capability which I have not used.

73,

Pat Haynes - K4BEH
