That sounds like you have microprocessor noise getting into the RF chain
somewhere. You might try removing the covers and making sure all the
connectors that go to the microprocessor board are pushed down all the way.
You can even mess around a little with how these cables are routed. With
the covers off, no antenna connected, you should be able to hear this whine
while tuning. This will allow you to move various connectors with your
hands and possibly determine where the whine is coming from. The Paragon
was especially bad about this problem.
