The era will end only when we run out of hams or run out of that old
fashioned courtesy and ham spirit that makes this hobby fun. Yes, I guess
real knobs and VFO's will be disappearing but I sure hope nice, decent folks
stick around because I need this hobby when I retire....I might well end up
being the last 520S on the air but not all of us are smart enough to work an
SDR rig although the ones I have heard sound pretty good. Just my two
