How hard is everyone driving the ALC? Driving ALC hard on CW will shorten the output rise time. And some suggest that CW driving the AC hard can lead to oscillations in the envelope right where the rise to flat transition is causing leading edge clicks. See if backing off on the drive to just not have ALC doesn't lengthen the rise time to the set value and at the same time clear up the clicks. -- 73, Jerry, K0CQ, All content copyright Dr. Gerald N.
