Per the manual, you should NEVER drive that amp with more than 80 watts.
In the tune up instructions, it very specifically says start with as little
input as you can, and then increase it gradually.. At least, that's what it
says for the 811H. I run a Jupiter (Without the ALC Hooked up to the amp) and
have no problems at all putting 50 Watts into the 811 and getting 850 Watts out
of it on 40M.
