John,
You may be thinking of the N-1 and N-2 buttons that
are above the main tuning knob, these are for
selecting optional 9 mhz filters that you have
purchased.
There are always 2 filters cascaded for receive
operation, an 9 mhz filter and a 6.3 mhz filter. You
have the option of cascading even one more using the
N-1 or N-2 filter button above the main tuning knb.

HI Gentleman, was wondering if the two buttons labled
nr1, and nr2 on the omni 6 plus are dsp buttons, and
also if you can cascade the filters like you can on
the omni vi
