Sherwin Williams is not an auto body paint supply house.
Body shops typically get paints matched in quantities as small as a pint.
That is why I recommended a body shop/paint supply house.
You evidently dealt with a clerk who doesn't know how to match paint.
I think you have a legitimate complaint and could probably get your money
back.

Subject: [TenTec] A waste of money
Went to Sherwin Williams with the top cover from my Paragon and asked them
to match it up. They stated the least amount they could do was a gallon. So
I left the cover with them and came back 2 days later and picked up the
paint. I got it home and read the small print on the label they attched to
tha can. It turns out it a gloss finish. All the Ten Tec rigs I've seen with
this color are a flat finish. Unfortunately it's not returnable. I don't
want a shiny finish on the rig. Guess I'm out the $40.00 and learned not to
go to Sherwin Williams again.
