"No such luck, two different processors, two sets of code Orion I 16-bit fixed-point; OrionII 32-bit floating point" Ron (K6KDK), The Noise Reduction code runs in the DSP processors. The two DSP processors in the Orion are identical to the two processors in the Orion II. Both are 32 bit DSPs. Only the "Dragonball" control processor is different in the two transceivers.
