Hi Arthur, DB25 Male plugged into Omni VI.....DB9 Female plugged into serial port of PC Pin 3.................................................Pin 2 Pin 2.................................................Pin 3 Pin 7.................................................Pin 5 Works for me. One diagram I have shows pins 4 and 6 on the DB9 jumpered together. I don't believe I had to do that. Remember you need to go through the menus on the Omni VI to set the baud rate and address. The PC needs to be set up for NO parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit, according to my Omni VI manual.
