Sorry, but that's misleading.  An ATU when installed between your rig
and your coax does not have a way to selectively tune just the antenna.
It simply provides an impedance match from the rig to the feedline.  If
there are mismatches between the feedline and the antenna, they will
remain.

Install the same unit at the antenna feedpoint and voila, you have an
antenna tuner!

It's not mistakenly called an antenna tuner. It's called an antenna
tuner because it tunes the antenna. It even tunes antennas for people
who do not believe it is doing so.
