Worst case the 960's overcurrent protection trips. Best case thereafter is
to set it for the extra amp or two that's needed. I'd bet that with the
Omni V into a properly matched aerial the 960 won't trip at all, ever.

I'll take a guess and hope someone will be able to back it up. I
believe the answer is yes with one possible restriction. IF (big if
there) the 960 won't generate as much output as the 961, then you'd have
to reduce power output on the Omni to not over-current the PS.
My Omni V runs on a 961 PS.
