60 volts is too high. they run at about 48-50 volts. you might check the
pass transistors in the power supply. be really careful with that amp as it
is not repairable.

I have a 444 amp that has sat for several years. I Powered it up a few days
ago and it shows about 60 volts on the meter, and has the over voltage
protection tripped.
Has anyone that has or had one of these had that problem? And if so what did
you find? A call to T T just raised my phone bill and got no help. Garland
used to work on these and he has got smart and retired. In the past he had
helped me out several times, very nice guy. No one else there seems to know
anything about these amps.
Any help would be appreciated.
