I purchased a new Astron RS-35A from Ham Radio Outlook in August, 2005. Checks, by my Fluke 27 Multimeter and the schematic diagram dated January 2000, show that the negative output is not floating but is connected to the ground pin of the 120 volt power cord. >Sorry, all I know about is the Astron RS-35 circa 2001. I do not know what >changes they may have made. If you examine a schematic of that supply, you >will see that if RF gets into the negative post, it goes straight to the >regulator circuitry. > >73, Mike N4NT _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
