Is that not what happens with the Omni VI's internal relay keying the
non-TenTec QSK amp??

The timing will be wrong if you do this. The omni VI will start
transmitting before your amp antenna relay has transfered. What you need is
for TXOUT to energize your amp antenna relay and then use a contact on the
amp antenna relay to return ground back to TXEN. This guarantees the amp
antenna relay transfers before transmitting begins. This is exactly what
tentec QSK amps do.

vacuum relays for QSK fast switching. Works great but, the OMNI relay used
to key non Ten Tec amps is annoying on CW. (Not real annoying but....)

the relay off and have quiet CW.

a "Y" connection and run the quiet transistor switching to ground since TX
OUT does go to ground when its active and then leave the relay OFF?
